    The AdvaMed Code of Ethics on Interactions with U.S. Health Care Professionals sets voluntary standards for company-funded education, consulting, meals, gifts, and research support, complementing federal anti-kickback and Sunshine Act requirements.

    What this means in practice

    Adopting and certifying compliance with the Code is a baseline expectation for U.S. MedTech commercial operations. MedTech Europe Code plays an analogous role in Europe.
